W on transcript
The symbol W for "withdrawal" will appear on your transcript when you drop a course after the withdrawal deadline. See the grading policy for more information.
Approval from instructor
If you need approval from your instructor to add a class after the term has started, you'll need to get a permission number to register. Contact the instructor or department offering the class to ask for a permission number.
Approval from the college scholastic committee
If you need approval from the college scholastic committee to change your registration after the term has started, submit an Academic Policy Petition. Contact your Success Coach if you have questions.
